ART STATEMENT
My artwork is created around the human figure. I depict the body in a realistic manner or as a blurry suggestion, without gender, always exploring its qualities as a vehicle of formal expression.
I use the figure as a support to create movement, comments about the human condition, its dehumanization and anonymous presence.
With my artwork I do not want to establish a narrative or tell a story. I rather suggest a visual dialogue that ideally creates a communion of feelings with the viewer. It is important to me that each individual finds new ways of interpretation, discovers different visual angles and emotional connections in my art work that may escape my initial creative intention.
